How to Make Your Own Brown Sugar Scrub

As a mom I don’t always have the time, energy, or money to run to the store and pick up sugar scrubs. And a day at the spa? Forget it. I never seem to have the time! What to do? I make my own DIY Sugar Scrub Recipe.  This all natural skin product contains brown sugar and is great for exfoliating my skin.  You can customize the scrub to match your personality by using your favorite essential oil. I use lavender essential oil to create a relaxing scent. Prefer fragrance free scrubs? Eliminate the oils.
This homemade sugar scrub recipe is perfect for pampering. It's easy to make, with only a few ingredients, and can be prepared in any fragrance.

How to Make Brown Sugar DIY Body Scrub:

Ingredients:
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 – 1/2 cup almond or coconut oil
1/2 tsp of vitamin E (optional)
45 drops of essential oil in your favorite scent
2 jars, 8 ounces each or 4 (4 ounce jars)
Tip: Divide the mixture into halves or fourths and use different scents to create an array of diy sugar scrub to match your mood.

Directions
Mix almond oil and vitamin E  together in a bowl. Add the brown sugar and mix well.  Add the essential oil. Divide into two jars and seal.  Use them whenever you need to be pampered.
Gift idea:  You make a cute printable and place the sugar scrubs in a basket, along with some inexpensive spa tools for a cute, affordable gift basket.
