Each year I try to share some of my favorite products I’ll be gifting family and friends. I like to choose tried and true items, ones that I know will get plenty of use. There’s nothing worse than giving someone a nice gift and then later finding out they are using that expensive piece of china as a pan to feed their chickens. And, yes, that was a true story! My 2014 Gift Guide has items that have passed the “useful” test and been appreciated by family and friends. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
1. The Essential Burt’s Bees Kit & The Burt’s Bees Tint N’ Shine kit. ($9.99 each) These products are a tried and true staple at our home. All the products are made from at least 99% natural ingredients and never tested on animals. The essentials kit includes almost everything needed for a quick pampering, including Coconut foot cream, Lip Balm, Milk and Honey Body Lotion and Soap Bark and Chamomile Cleansing Cream. 2. The Epicurean Cut & Serve Board in the shape of the state of Georgia. The products always garner compliments. Lately I am a fan of the wooden cat sculptures and their beautiful hand blown Mexican glassware, perfect for any time of year.

I dislike giving gifts that are not appreciated or not really wanted. Hence, I tend to stick to gift cards or cold hard cash. 🙂

These look like some really great gifts for this Christmas season! I am not even ready to think about Christmas yet but it will be quite different this year. We won’t be having a huge celebration this year because my daughter is expecting twins on Christmas Eve so we are keeping things low key this year waiting on the happy event.
