This winter has been usually snowy in our area. If we have snow, one or two inches is enough to shut down the entire community. You can imagine how we felt when we several weeks of smaller snowstorms, followed by a six inch storm. If you guessed stir crazy, you were right. So far we have christened them “Thing 1” and “Thing 2.” With so much going on in my life, I am looking for easy meals for my family, because sometimes you just need a quick lunch the kids will want to eat. I’m a fan of the Mini Ravioli. I can prepare a lunch for myself within 90 seconds in my microwave, which is great for the days when I see this has happened within the 30 minutes I am inside the house, away from the pasture… Meet “Thing 3” and “Thing 4.”

My daughter use to live on this when she was a toddler. She called it Eat-Eat, we never knew where she got the name.
My favorite quick meal on a budget would be Chicken baked in salsa served with rice and a salad. Nice and flavorful and quick to make.

Any type of meat in the crockpot with BBQ sauce or Italian dressing, frozen veggies and we good to go! We need a lot of quick meals in our house.
My girls used to love Chef Boyardee foods. I like to keep extra soup around now in the freezer so I’ve always got a meal ready to go.

Omg those babies are so cute. I can’t eat lambs or any other animals I find cute for this reason as it just seems so wrong to eat something so cute. But I used to love Chef Boyardee!

My husband loves Chef Boyardee. We buy it so he has something to take to work that is quick so he doesnt have to eat all his meals at the hospital cafeteria since he works 12 hour shifts.
