Because my kids are such fans of #TruMoo, I asked my daughter and blog contributor, to share her thoughts.
When my mom called and asked if I would go to the store to pick up some groceries for her blog, I was expecting the usual: flour, sugar, maybe some cornstarch. Instead, she asked me to pick up TruMoo Chocolate Marshmallow.
“You mean TruMoo Chocolate, and marshmallows?” I asked.
“No, TruMoo Chocolate Marshmallow. It’s their new seasonal flavor for February. We do need marshmallows though.”
In the background, I could hear my little brother: “TruMoo? We’re getting TruMoo? I love TruMoo! It’s made with 1% milk, but it’s still so creamy!”
That’s right- my little brother likes TruMoo so much that he’s practically a walking commercial for it. Mom likes it too, because we can satisfy our chocolate milk cravings without any artificial growth hormones or high fructose corn syrup. TruMoo makes their flavored milks with fresh white milk from regional dairies around the country, pure cocoa, and just enough natural sugar. The result is a chocolate milk that’s nutritious enough for mom to approve of, and delicious enough for us to enjoy. They also have a vanilla flavor if you have any people in your family who don’t do chocolate, like my dad. (Weird, I know.)
It took a while to find our TruMoo Chocolate Marshmallow, as our local groceries hadn’t received their milk shipments for the week, but we finally found it at Walmart. It’s also available at Target and Walgreen’s, and you can find it nationwide throughout the month of February, so chocolate lovers across the country are in for a treat.
When we got home with our groceries in tow, mom had us help her make white chocolate and caramel covered marshmallows. If you plan on serving your TruMoo cold, you can buy the giant campfire marshmallows and serve them on sticks to dip in your TruMoo. If you’re planning on serving your TruMoo hot, buy regular marshmallows and float these on top for an extra-special wintry treat.
You can make chocolate caramel marshmallows to serve with your TruMoo. They’re simple to make!
- 6 large Marshmallows
- 10 caramels
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 10 vanilla candy melts
- 6 popsicle sticks
- 1/4 cup pecans
- Place caramels and milk in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 1 minute, stir. Microwave for 30 more seconds or until caramel is melted. Place marshmallows on lollipop sticks. Dip marshmallows in caramel. Place in freezer for ten minutes or until set. Meanwhile, melt candy melts in microwave safe bowl for one minute. Dip marshmallows in white chocolate and roll in pecans. Place into freezer for 10 more minutes or until set. Serve with TruMoo.
we absolutely love trumoo milk! But I didn’t have a clue they had new flavors! I want to go find this new marshmellow flavor and try it out.

Hooray for TruMoo and a new flavor. I can’t wait for my kids to try it since just this afternoon my 6 year old said, “TruMoo makes the best milk ever”! lol

Oh that sounds so good! I have never heard of TruMoo but it seems like it is definitely something I need to pick up and since I am at Target every other day… not a problem haha! My little guy loooooves chocolate milk and my daughter loooves marshmallows. Sounds kinda like it was made just for us!
We love TruMoo here! Those caramel marshmallows are delicious. I’ve made something similar. At first I didn’t think I’d like the combination, but then I couldn’t stop eating them!

I got to do a review one time for their orange true moo at Halloween time. I love True moo and yes I picked up some of this goodness it’s like heaven in a glass. It’s a healthy way to stop my chocolate fixes as with my health issues I can’t have chocolate but I tend to do ok with chocolate milk and this is the best.
We had the marshmallow milk the other day and my boys love it, I will try to make this for them as we should have enough left.
