Savoring the Summer with PetGiftBox

Have I mentioned how spoiled my cats are? I had to go out-of-town recently and when I returned, I found Trix’s PetGiftBox, which they graciously sent for the catssitting on the floor by the door in the family room.  The cats were unimpressed no one was home to open the box for them and had attempted to rectify the problem themselves, with no results.  They were happy to see me, mainly because I could open the box for them.   When I opened it, I discovered why they were so excited; plenty of toys with catnip, which my family refers to as “crack for cats,” because our cats go wild whenever they are near it.

This month’s selection included:
PetGiftBox Toys
SuperCat Plush Dinosaurs and Catnip Spray from Quaker Pet Group– These little dinosaurs, when spritzed with the included catnip spray, became Okie’s favorite new plaything. He spent a long time rubbing his face against the dinosaurs and rolling around on top of them. I’ve found something to keep him occupied when I need him to stay out of trouble!
Mini Bungee Teaser Wand from Spot – All of the cats took turns playing with this. I finally got tired of swinging it for them and attached it to a spot on top of my loveseat so they could sit beside me and play. This toy does include “feathers” on the end and one of the cats managed to pull one off.  He spent several minutes trying to get the feather out of his mouth.
Multipet Scratch N Play Cardboard Roller– Another hit with the cats, this roller has toys attached at one end, a bell attached at the other end and is infused with catnip. The cats pushed the roller across the kitchen floor, periodically stopping to bat the toys on one end while trying to chew on the roll.
PetGift Box Treats

Purely Natural Buffalo Bites from Loving Pets--Most of the cats were a little confused about this at first because the treats were bigger than what they normally have. They batted these around the floor for a little while and then dug in, because, hey, it’s buffalo!
Authority Chicken Dental Chews–Grain free and made with real chicken, these are perfect to freshen up the cat’s breath. It’s a bonus that they like these because I’ve tried dental chews in the past with several hits and misses. I know the dental chews will only work if they eat them!

The contents of the June PetGiftBox are worth $35, but they can be purchased for as low as $17.99 a month. I like the “no commitment” clause, allowing you to try a box  or gift one to a friend without being locked into a subscription service. Want to try to a box for yourself or a friend?
