Holiday Survival with an AT&T GoPhone

I am participating in a sponsored campaign with AT&T. All opinions, including all the uses we’ve found for the GoPhone, are my own.
“Mom, how did people settle arguments before they had Google?” my daughter asked. The kids had a slight disagreement while we were at the mall, both thinking they were right over a trivia question. My son whipped out his phone and told me, “I’ll find out the answer!” Sadly, I don’t think either of them were correct. As my kids have gotten older giving them a cell phone like the AT&T GoPhone gives me piece of mind. While we were shopping everyone wanted to hit a different store. After I finished shopping I simply called the kids and asked them to meet me in the food court. This is so much easier than the method I had to do with my mom; set a certain time to meet back and then check my watch every few minutes to make sure I met her on time.

We can keep up with the latest apps.

You may be wondering, Pam, how did an AT&T GoPhone help you survive the holidays? I would simply say, “Have you ever had a bored teenager on your hands?”
*The unlimited text feature allows him to keep up with his friends and keep in contact with me
*The unlimited data usage allows hit to download apps and games; keeping him happy on long car trips
*The unlimited talk allows me to call him to check up on him whenever I want.
*There’s also unlimited texting to Mexico, Canada and over 100 other countries (Unfortunately I did not get to out of the country for Christmas, but I can always dream!)
*There’s no contract, which makes me happy. I can purchase the $45 a month plan that includes all of the above features and 1 GB of high speed data

all the stuff you can do with a gophone
We can take pictures, play games and check facts on the internet.

We also received a package of goodies to help us survive the holiday, which were scooped up by my children as soon as they saw them, including earphones (for some reason they want to listen to their own music instead of me singing 80’s tunes) and a portable speaker (because they are happy to share my tunes with me.)
