This recipe takes only a few basic ingredients but can easily be made into a fun “do it yourself” popcorn mix bar.  To make the bar, start by using regular unbuttered popcorn.  Tip: Don’t use buttered popcorn because it will make the mixture “greasy.” You can use regular popcorn or microwave popcorn if you are in a hurry. Place the popcorn in a large bowl with a scoop.

Ingredients
  • 8 cups microwave popcorn, popped (don’t use butter flavor)
  • 1 bag (10 to 12 ounces) candy corn
  • 1 container (16 ounces) jelly pumpkin candy
Instructions
  1. Mix together the pumpkins, popcorn and candy corn until blended.

If you don’t want to make the DIY popcorn bar, you can mix up one of these quick and easy gluten free versions.  Both the candy corn version and the gummy version have only 3 ingredients! If you prefer to use the gummy version, mix one bag of gummy spiders and one bag of gummy worms into eight cups of popcorn. I used the 4.5 ounces sized bag of gummy candies.
