How to Make an Easy Christmas Candle Centerpiece

candle
We received Volcanica Candles for review purposes. All opinions are our own.

If you have followed along with my craft making adventures, you know I like to have chic, crafty décor but I don’t have the patience for complicated crafts that may turn into a major fail. This fall I was offered a chance to review Volcanica candles and jumped at the chance to use them to create a lovely Christmas centerpiece for my dining room table. I used fresh evergreen leaves from our tree in the backyard to help create the look, but if you plan to burn the candle during the evening be sure to dampen the greenery before you use it. This centerpiece used items I already had on hand in my Christmas supplies and in my cabinet. Because I was using a square candle, I opted to use a rectangular plate, but any type of plate would work.

Here’s what you need to create the look:
One rectangular bowl
One square Volcanica candle
Fresh greenery
12 medium sized ornaments in colors of your choice (gold and red seemed to compliment my candle, but this would be lovely using a white candle with blue and silver ornaments)

I began by adjusting the greenery until it covered the dish. Then I placed the candle in the middle. I surrounded the candle with the ornaments. Voila! A lovely centerpiece that took around ten minutes to put together, including gathering the greenery. You can experiment with this look by using different shapes and sizes of candles along with different types of greenery and ornaments. Each centerpiece will be uniquely you!
