Wedding Chic- An Alternative to the Traditional Veil

My daughter is getting married-in less than a week-and wanted something different from the traditional veil. Here’s what she decided upon.
When we were offered the chance to review a flower halo from Mia Beauty, I was all over it. I have been looking for alternatives to veils for my upcoming wedding, and a flower crown fit the theme perfectly. Not only that, but flower halos are on-trend lately, and have been popping up on celebrities, festival goers, and brides alike. While I waited on the halo to arrive, I envisioned all the outfits I could pair it with after the wedding. What could be better than an accessory you know you’re going to wear a lot?

When the halo arrived, I was impressed with the quality. Many flower halos that I have seen are flimsy and the flowers fall off as soon as you put it on. Not this one! It’s very sturdy, and the flowers are firmly attached to the headband. The headband will stand up to the needs of festival-goers and brides-to-be, staying firmly in place without sliding around and tangling with your hair. My headband is cream roses, which fits perfectly with my wedding dress, but there are flower haloss available for any occasion. These headbands are also reasonably priced, which makes them even better than I already thought they were.
If you’re unsure about flower halos, these will convince you. Although they are tasteful for adults- and totally on trend- these haloss would be perfect for flower girls or prom goers as well. Styled casually, or adding flair to a more upscale occasion, be sure to add this brand to your Summer 2014 Must-Buy accessories!
Although I haven’t worn my halo yet- I’m saving it for the wedding- I have tried it on and love the way it looks with my outfit, and I can’t wait to wear it with high-waist shorts and a tank top to the local summer music festival. In fact, one of my friends saw a photo of me trying on the halo and my dress, and asked me where she could purchase one for Bonnaroo! Since imitation is the highest form of flattery, that’s pretty high praise for a single accessory!

  20. I like the idea of using flowers. My sister got married last October and since she has really, REALLY big curly hair, she went with flowers because a veil would have looked weird over all that hair lol.
