Free Worm You Be Mine Valentine’s Treat Bag Topper

I’m a sucker for a cute Valentine’s Day card. As the room mom who had to make Valentine’s for all the kids, I had all sorts of good ideas, mostly involving pictures of cute cats. My son began to protest my cat phase and encouraged me to try for Valentine’s Day treats the boys in the class would enjoy too.  I knew (almost) of the kids were fans of gummy worms and knew they would good additions to a treat bag.  Once I had that idea, it was a snap to create these free printable Valentine bag toppers asking people, “Worm you be my Valentine?”

All I needed to make these were small treat bags, a supply of gummy worms, tape and the free printable Valentine’s Day Treat Bag Toppers.  These treat bags can be made even faster if you allow the kids to help, although you might need extra gummy worms for snacking!

I tried this with a small treat bag and added four to five gummy words to each bag. If you don’t have treat bags, substitute snack bags. If you want the topper to completely cover the snack bags, you’ll need to fold the snack bags in half.  I did this with some of my bags and taped them together on the top. It worked perfectly.

After I added the worms, I cut out the  Valentine’s Day Treat Bag Topper and taped it in place on top of the bag. You could whip up enough of these treats for an entire classroom  in less than 30 minutes from start to finish.
