How to Make No Bake Butterfly Cookies

It’s summer. The birds are chirping, the bees are buzzing, and the kids are saying, “I’m bored.” Or maybe that’s just what my kids said.  One of the best ways I’ve found to beat the boredom is finding recipes for the kids to make. We’re huge fans of easy no bake cookies,  so we used Voortman cookies to create these cute butterfly cookies. They’re a huge hit for parties!

How to make Butterfly Cookies:

We began with three types of Voortman Cookies, Sugar Wafers, Shortbread Swirl and Iced Almondette, their tasty almond cookies.  We also used white icing, regular and mini sized chocolate candies, a black food decorator pen and jelly candies in different colors. We made 6 cookies, but this recipe can be adapted to make as many as you like.
