“I love to spend all my time house cleaning,” said (almost) no one ever. I do know people who say ironing or mopping helps relax them, but for most of us, cleaning is a chore to get over and done. My motto is, “Anything that makes my life easier” when I’m cleaning. That’s why I am sharing some of my favorite cleaning shortcuts with you featuring the Scotch-Brite™ Printed Lint Roller and the Scotch-Brite™ Standard Lint Roller. We all know the traditional way to use a Lint Roller, right? It’s great for removing those pesky pieces of lint, hair, and fuzz off our favorite clothes. But, did you know, you can use it for nontraditional cleaning purposes too?
The Best Nontraditional Uses For Lint Rollers:
1. Remove Pet Hair from Your Couch. Do you ever have someone call unexpectedly and say they want to drop by in a few minutes? No problem, except that your main seating area is covered with snippets of cat fur. Pick up the lint roller and run it over the couch to give it a quick cleaning. Note: The Scotch-Brite Printed Lint Rollers are ideal for soft surfaces, like clothing, upholstery and carpet.
2. Clean the Baby’s Car Seat. Just run it over the cloth to remove crumbs, dirt or debris for a quick clean when you don’t have to wash the fabric. It also works on traditional car seats.
3. Clean your patio cushions or swing. Have you ever gone outside on a hot day and wanted to sit on your swing or patio furniture? You’re about to relax, when you notice everything is covered with a fine layer of dirt. When this happens to me, I grab my handy lint rollers and give the cushions and swing seat cover a few rolls. I’m able to sit down without people thinking I’ve sat in a dirt pile.
4. Clean a backpack. Have you ever noticed ,no matter how hard you try, gunk accumulates in the bottom of the kids’ backpack? (Or in mine too. Sssh.) Use a Lint Roller to clean the inside and out. You’ll have the cleanest backpack around!
The uses for the Scotch-Brite Standard Lint Roller are unlimited. It’s ideal for kids’ crafts. One of our favorite ways is in this fun craft project. We used our Lint Roller to make a “Sensory Art Project.”
To Make the Stamper, You’ll Need:

Paper of your Choice
Place the raised stickers on the piece of paper in the design of your choice. Place the craft paint on a plate. Using a clean sheet from the lint roller, roll the lint roller in the paint. Paint the entire sheet of paper. When the paper is totally dry, remove the stickers. You can use the same technique on other projects, like flower pots too.
