Eitech Construction Vehicle Set & Giveaway
I am a sneaky mom, constantly trying to find educational toys that the kids don’t realize are educational. I figure what they don’t know won’t hurt them. If they should happen to be developing fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and using their creative skills while having fun, who I am to interrupt their play time? The problem is finding toys that fit this description. There are lots of educational toys on the market that lack a certain interest level. The kids play with it one time and then toss it or decide it’s no fun because it is too educational. This year we discovered eitech and the creative play began anew.
I had never heard of this company until I was introduced to them by a friend. They’re a German based company who has expanded to the US and brought a line of construction toys for all ages. The beginner sets are designed for children four years and up and teach several much needed educational skills, like 3 dimensional skills, needed for math and geometry. These are followed by the basic sets for ages six to eight and then my favorites, the sets designed for ages eight and up. What child wouldn’t want to build their own ferris wheel or Eiffel Tower? (Where were these toys when I had to help my 10 year old daughter design a roller coaster? The experience still haunts me.)
We received the Construction Building Set. The tools are included to build at least two different designs and, for those visual learners like me, step by step picture directions are added. I was afraid the toys would be difficult to build but they were not. The pieces are a little on the small side so if you have younger children at home I would have the older kids keep it in a safe place.
