Go Back To School with Colgate Optic White (up for grabs)

I’ve been busy preparing a basket of supplies for my daughter to take with her to college. I’ve made a list with the basic necessities, school supplies, dorm furnishing and toiletries. I want her to have items that will help make the transition to living “on her own” smoother. Recently she had complained her teeth and her skin looked “yellow.” While this turned out to be a vitamin and iron deficiency , I didn’t want her to be worried about discolored teeth. She doesn’t have the patience for traditional teeth whitening methods , so we decided to try the simple solution-Colgate Optic White toothpaste which promised “whiter teeth in one week.”

Colgate Optic White toothpaste contains the same ingredients found in teeth whitening strips, hydrogen peroxide,  but without the hassle. By brushing her teeth as she normally does each day, she has brighter, whiter, teeth. The package states “for best results use the toothpaste continuously for four weeks.”  There’s a smaller amount of hydrogen peroxide in the toothpaste than in strips, allowing us to use the toothpaste daily.

After using the toothpaste regularly over the past month, we have seen our teeth gradually become whiter. Because I rarely drink dark colored beverages, I had better results than my daughter. This formula is available in “Cool Mild Mint” and Sparkling Mint.  Sometimes mint flavored dental hygiene products can be too strong, almost causing a burning sensation. I didn’t find that with the cool mild mint. Instead, it felt “fresh” and made my breath smell good too.

We’ve combined using the toothpaste with the Colgate 360 Optic White toothbrush for maximum results. This toothbrush contains two elements to strengthen the process, whitening cups and polishing bristles. The cups are designed to hold the toothpaste, allowing more effective stain removal, while the polishing bristles are able to clean hard to reach areas. I liked the soft bristles and the “clean feeling” I had after using this brush. The suction cups felt different than a “regular” toothbrush, but they seemed to grip the tops of my teeth and remove the “gunk.”

My family would like the Cool Mild Mint. My kids don’t like strong mint toothpaste. Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
