Halloween Express is bringing Spooky back!

No matter how old the kids get, they still enjoy dressing up. This year my daughter and her friends have planned a Halloween Theme Party. She needed a historical costume to wear. I wanted a well made costume that could be used again in the future. Halloween Express had more historical costumes than I could imagine. Pilgrims, Medieval, Greek and Roman, costumes from the 40’s through 80’s, flappers, American historical costumes, I was impressed with the selection. I wish I had found Halloween Express years ago. It would have made my search for costumes for various Historical Days at School and plays easier. I found the Medieval Maiden Costume she could have used for the yearly Renaissance Days held at school.

She chose the Queen Masquerade Costume complete with a mask. Very stylish in the 1700’s. Add a corset and some period shoes and her look would be complete!

She has a wig to wear with this outfit but she had straightened her hair and wouldn’t wear it for the photo. ¬†She added the choker to complete the outfit.

Thanks to their selection of accessories, wigs, and makeup, I found a sword for the seven year old. It’s made of sturdy plastic, looks realistic, and best of all, won’t cause me a trip to the emergency room from being too sharp.

The 110% price guarantee was pretty awesome too. If I find the same item at another retailer within fourteen days of purchase, they will refund the difference plus 10%. There’s free shipping on orders of $65 or more which is good for anyone who has to buy multiple costumes. Once I placed my order, the products shipped quickly. I ordered early to give the costume plenty of time to get here before Halloween. I was afraid, since this is the busiest time of the year, it might take several weeks. Instead, the costumes shipped out the same day and arrived at my house within three days.

There are so many costumes I could even find a costume for me. Maybe I could finally convince my family I am the queen after all! As a special discount for my readers, use the code THRIFTYTHINGS to receive 10% off site wide with no minimum order (excludes gift cards, personalized and special order items). The code is valid through 12/31/11.
