By now you probably know I like chocolate. I can’t eat it as often (or as much) as I would like because of those pesky little calories. Now I have found a way to enjoy chocolate without the weight gain! Lisa Ann Skincare has developed a line of handmade spa products including Chocolate Body Lotion. Cocoa Butter, Fair Trade shea butter and a rich dark chocolate scent are used to create this decadent lotion.
Lisa Ann developed her line of skin care products using fair trade ingredients and no chemicals to make her products “as natural as possible.” All of her products are paraben free and vegan. I also like how she gives back by contributing a portion of her proceeds to various charities including the Susan G. Komen foundation.
When I tried the lotion for the first time my son asked me, “Does it really smell like chocolate?” I told him, “Yes, indeed, it does have a light (not overpowering!) chocolate scent.” He smelled of it and said it reminded him more of vanilla frosting but it still smelled “really good.”
I liked how it rubbed completely into my skin with no lingering greasy feeling. I tested it by trying it on one hand and then having a feel test. I asked my family to feel of my hands without telling them which hand had lotion. All of them agreed the hand with the lotion felt much smoother.
